I would say no. It might even be a tight fit on stock heads with those specs.

It will actually fit but once you start the car you will destroy it.

I think.

That sounds like the M2 cam. Call up to Fastech and ask Sean.

I'm guessing .025-.040 on both intake and exhaust....

Not even close to having enough....get the notching tool on the way.

How could that be if a TREX which is 242/248 110lsa 108icl has ~.080" clearence on stock heads? If you subtract .030" from that you get .050" and this cam is much bigger. Even if the valves are bigger then at a 15 degree angle from the piston only about 10% of the increase in diameter will contirbute to a reduction in piston to valve clearance. I am curious as I will be running a 239/246 .649"/.61x" LSK/XE-R 106lsa 106icl cam on 5.3 heads with 2.02 valves and 1.60 valves. I will be milling the heads between .015"-.030" and flycutting .080".

Simply basing that "guesstamate" on my 224/228 on a 114 coming in around .080/.105 with my 205 AFR's which should actually provide slightly more PTV. Im shocked that a cam as big as you mentioned still has .080...especially on a 110 LSA. Bottom line...PTV needs to always be accurately checked and accounted for no matter if 100 people told you it would be OK anyway...my guess is the pistons will have to be notched if you want clearances on the conservative side.

Interesting. I would think if you only saw that kind of clearence then there would be no way the TREX would have 80 thousanths. What icl was the 224/228 cam on?

BTW, I look forward to the new products you guys are bringing out for the lsx crowd. Keep up the good work.

Yea, Jason99T/A mocked up my motor with the Ron Jeremy and AS Stage 2 5.3's with 2.055 intake == .006 and that cam only has .600 lift on the intake side.
