thinking of a cam for xmas!!!!! 
Its not time for some internal engine mods. Right now I'm wanting to get a cam for my car, but I'm not sure what one to get. Right now I am however thinking of getting Comp's GT cam for my car. I know these forums are moslty for v8's, but i have a 01' v6 Firebird. Now the GT cam is 210/210 at .050 and .317 on intake and exhaust. This cam is good for a gain of 30rwhp. I was goin with this one cuz it wasnt very much and didnt have to my ECU reprogramed. Now I've learned that Texas speed does this not to expensively so I may go with a bigger cam. If somone knows of anothre brand of cam that is better that it wont set off the P0300 code and wont have to have the ECU reprogrammed let me know. Also would it be wise to buy new springs, rods, retainers, etc. If so let me knwo who has them for my car . Thanx guys!
