Will be installing heads and cam when I return from the desert. Decided to go with MTI package. I've decided on the Steath II cam but was wondering if the stage 2E LS6 heads would give me enough gain over the stage 2E LS1's to justify the price difference. I will not be exchanging my stock heads and will be buying new heads to be ported and polished. MTI wants $1200 for the LS6 heads. Don't have a clue on how much the LS1's are.

LS6 has high compression than LS1
LS6 hp > LS1 hp

The difference between a 2E LS1 and 2E LS6 will be 15>20 hp max.
IMO get a set of 5.3 stage 2E's, will work perfect forthe Stealth II.

BTW I have that cam + bolt ons 404rwhp/383rwtq and when I inquired about heads David recommended 5.3 2E's. Best CR should be around 11.2:1
