Default biggest cam with stock heads????

I'm putting in a tci 3500 stall next week and i'm going to do a cam swap and i have a few questions if someone could please help me out. How big of a cam can i go with the stock heads? also...i have an A4, will it even run if i put the cam in at the house and then try to drive it up to the shop the get it tuned? any help or suggestions on what cam would be appreciated greatly...i will have the same stuff on the T/A as i did on the Z28 in sig.

I would do TSP's new 233/239 cam, the one that has many pages of replies in this same forum. Or you could do a search on "TSP"

Of course I would probably go with a bigger stall too but that's just me

Oh, BTW, I'm close to you, in DP.

that sounds like a sweet cam...that 3500 stall should be fine with that cam don't you think? do you think i should go with dual valve springs just to be safe?

just to be safe? try just to keep your motor running. drop a valve when you snap a single(quick) and see what happens.

i'd go with a bigger stall as well if you're goin with that large of a cam. like 4k.

The 233/239 camshaft features slightly more aggressive lobes than the 231.237 camshaft, but will still work with a single springs such as the 918!

Thats what that post says...thats why i said that...i wouldn't think twice with a cam that big to go with duals...im thinkin about something a little smaller though now that i think about it...i put about 75 miles on my car each day and probably go to the track once every 2 months depending on weather...which cam do you think i should go with? i'd like a cam that would work well with the 3500 stall because i already have it, just havent put it in there yet
