I'm not going to tell you "don't worry about it" but, I shifted my SS at 6,300 250+ passes at the track within two years and no problems, now, I'm shifting at 6,700 with the rev limit at 7,000 with still no problems besides breaking driveline parts . Invest in ARP's if your really worried.

Joe.

Ill take my chances with 6600rpms. Still it sounds like the you might as well pull the motor and change the bolts. If they break the motors coming out anyway, but with costly repairs.

After installing the Hotcam last year I reset the rev limiter to 6600rpms and it sees that area of the tach often and no prob so far .

When I did my cam and heads I just went ahead and threw a set of the ARP Pro-series rod bolts in. Makes me feel alot better when I am spinning the motor over 6500
