solid lifters question
I bought a set of solid lifters from a user here. They arrived in good condition as described. But sicne they are my first set of solids, I have a question...
Should they still have a plunger? there is the normal looking pushrod seat and a circlip down inside the top. And IC an't be sure, but it feels like I can move the plunger in there if I tried. I haven't put much force onto it yet though because I don't want to damage them if they are hydraulic.
Should there be a clip down in the top like what the hydraulics use to retain the plunger? Or did I get the wrong lifters?

timber...i sent you the solid lifters that i purchased from speed inc...no need to worry they are the solid lifter that crane makes....that i can guarantee you that....
they were in my motor and worked great, but now stepping up to the jessel setup.....just need to make sure your cam doesnt have a really small base circle or your oil pressure will be low....
