Default PP heads

hey guys i just got my new z06 style heads today, and i noticed that the radious of the combustion chamber is not totally round it is kinda bumpy with somew hat pertruding edges. The bowl is fine but the part that is supose to be round and match up with the sleeve and the silinder is not all that round. Is this cool or WTF cause my stock heads are pretty much round there.

any body??

Did you get these direct for PP? Or were they reworked and assembled by another vendor? I am wondering because I am considering buying a set of these heads.

Thanks

Hey fellas, you may wanna call some of our sponsors to find out more info about Patriot. They have been hit with some problems. TSP is coming out with a set of worked 5.3L heads that should hold up great for under $1550.00 and MTI is lowering the price on theirs. I was planning to buy some PP LS6s but changed my mind after calling around. "May wanna do some more homework"

I have done some research and read some good info on ForceFed HP. They buy the cores from PP and rework and assemble the heads there. Thats why I was wondering if the heads were purchased straight from PP or reworked and assembled somewhere else.

If you checkout MTI's website, they have a pic of the finished LS1 heads.

You can see the difference is shapes. Anyone have a pic of a LS6 head? I wonder if the LS6 head has the same shape as the PP LS6 Style head.

well yours looks smoother than mine around the edges ( when i say they got bumps on the edges i mean they got bumps like a five year old that just got beat up by the ten year old bulley and his mom don't even recongnise him ) i 'll try to post a picture as soon as i get ahold of a digital camera, i am thinking that
A: i finish up the heads and smooth them out myself.(( bad idea)
B: post a picture A.S.A.P ( wait for advise)
D: get a hold of PP and send them back or something.

edit::o and a happy new years to ya'll

re-edit: you guys don't have to guess just go up to the first thumnail that the guy from force fed hp posted , well it looks juts like that but instead of having that one giant bump it has several smaller ones.
