Has anyone done a back to back omparison between the 224/581 and the F1/X1 type cams?
The extra three degrees duration is that keeping the same intake valve closing point betweenthe two cams (so intake vlave is opened earlier) or is it closed later with the 227 dur intake lobe of the F1? Or is it opened a lil earlier an closed a little later? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Anyone dynoed a 224 XE-R cam then went right to a F1? I know LonSlo did wiht his thunder 224 (and picked up about 20 hp)but that was the low lift non XE-R ramp
