Default rocker arms with my h/c setup???

next week im putting on mti stage 2e heads, mti g1 cam, mti hardened pushrods, march pulley, and ls2 timing chain. i figure im probably not gonna be goin inside the motor again for a while, so i was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to get a nice set of full roller rocker arms for my heads. im not talkin about getting bigger ones, just getting the stock size in a full roller style. i hear the stock arms are fine, except for a few cases of broken needle bearings, but while im in there, i figured y not? i have a stock bottom end and the most i will be doing as far as power adders will be a light 100 shot of n2o. other than that, i will be running n/a 90% of the time. so, should i look into a set of roller rocker arms for my head swap? also, would some aftermarket lifters be beneficial as well??

If you have more than 50k miles, might as well change the lifters since your heads are off. Comp 850-16 or Crane (replacement).
The stock rockers are fine, but if you are worried you might spill bearings then Nate at Nasty's can hook you up with a c clip rebuild kit from Harland Sharp with new trunions. No more spilled beans. I think if you send your rockers it is like $265.00 or so.

well, i dont have time to do that now, cuz im puttin in my new heads/cam next weekend. i only have like 13k miles on my car now. im hoping my stock rockers and lifters will last a while. what do ya think? maybe in another 10-15k miles when i check the valvesprings, ill go ahead and get some good rockers and lifter replacements. nate doesnt turn the stock rockers into full rollers does he?

13k, you'll be fine, don't worry.
No they machine them for new trunions and add c-clips.

Keep us posted how your combo turns out. What stage 2E's did you get??

i got the 5.7s. do u think my stock lifters will be ok? what about down the road if i wanna hook up a small 100 shot? should i look into swapping my lifters? i really dont wanna have to pull my heads again, and i believe its necessary to pull the heads to change lifters.
