what cam do you guys think i should go with? With the mods listed in my sig, i was just wondering what cam do you guys think i should go with? I was the biggest cam that will give me the most horsepower and beat a damn hole in the ground that doesnt require computer tuning. I would like to go with a thunder racing cam since i have only heard positive feedback about their cams but i dont know what size. What do you guys think?

Re: what cam do you guys think i should go with? I would look into getting the TR230/224 cam. I was running this cam with stock heads and I am currently using it again while the solid roller setup is being upgraded. As long as you drill your TB hole out some, the idle is actually fairly good.
My car did 401/377 with stock heads and with a rebuilt 346ci motor and GTP stg 2 heads, it pulled 440/410.

Re: what cam do you guys think i should go with? You might want to go with the GM ASA cam. There is a sound clip posted this AM....IT SOUNDS MEAN!
the clip is without cats and through a loudmouth so it will sound more tame without the racer exhaust...
SDPC sells it for $350...just throw it in with some 918 springs...KILLER!

a friend had the comp 224/224 .581 112 cam and pulled 399 on stock heads.
