Question should I change my springs and pushods

I will be installing a set of TEA LS6 stage 2.5 with 3.90 bore heads and a Futral F13 or F14 cam. Also a FAST LSX 90 mm intake and throttle body and meziere electric waterpump will be installed this spring on my 02 Camaro SS 6spd. The heads came with comp 987's. You can see the rest of my mods in my signature. Are these springs my best option or what should I swap to. Any other pushrods recommended or any other input. I know 10 people might have 10 opinions but curious to read other thoughts preferably from people who know what the hell they are talking about. So if you don't know your **** don't bother posting. I am looking to get 450 rwhp. THANKS

TEA installs those springs to accept .620 lift (if I recall correcty). I have those springs on my setup, yet the TSP231/237 has less aggressive lobes than the Futral cams you've listed. I'd run it with the 987's, as Comp 978's would be another alternative, but not much better. 977's would involve CompR lifters.
Go ahead and use the 987's but keep an eye out for valve float and check them every year.

You should be fine with those springs, if you want to upgrade them you could get the PRC or the patriot ones wich seem to be good choices also (I think they are the same).
Just get any hardned pushrods (verify you get the correct length for that setup). Good luck on your 450HP goal .
Maybe I will see you in Startford over the summer since I cruise around that area.

Not possible. Heads have been machined to accept larger diameter springs.
I think one can retrofit stock diameter springs, but I'm not sure what that entails.
