Default What valvesprings / pushrods for 224?

Im going to begin installing my TR224 pretty soon, what valve springs / hardened pushrods would you reccomend? Ive heard the patriot gold dual valve springs were pretty good for the price, but will they work well with my cam?

the partiots will work, they are good to .650 lift and i doubt you will even come close tho that. what kind of lift are you going to be seeing? i am guessing around .580. you could also go with the comp 918's if your mind is not set on the double springs. if you are not produceing over .600 lift then most aftermarket springs will work for you.

You could use comps 918's or some double springs like PRC's, patriots, cranes for a stronger valvetrain. As far as pushrods, some hardened pushrods are a good idea since you have a manual tranny.

Thanks, I think I will save some money and just get the comp 918's. The lift on my cam is only .563

The 918's are lighter too. For your app, it seems to be the most logical choice! GL on your build.

Get the 918 springs with ti-retainers. Also get the moly pushrods too. With that cam that is all you need. The dual springs are good but are overkill......for that lift of a cam, unless you are going to a bigger cam in the future.
