Strange Noises on LS1 intake Can anyone give me a little information on the "air pump" in the LS1 engine? I replaced the Air intake lid and put a K&N in there and I also have the SLP loudmouth exhaust system. Every now and then when I start the car I hear a high pitched "resonating" sound coming from the breather pipe and the exhaust. Once the air pump cuts off the sound stops. It is becoming more common. The dealership tells me that it is normal, but I am not so sure about that. Anyone have any advice? I would appreciate it.
