The 6.0l heads flow a bit better than the stock LS1's but the chambers are larger and your compression ratio will decrease. It makes a perfect candidate for supercharging.........

Good luck,

How much would they have to be milled to bring the CR back to 10:1 with stock GM head gasket on a 6.0L block?

Your 6.0 block will have 10:1 compression with 317 heads. Those heads are used on the Cadillac Escalade which has 10:1 compression. They are also used on GM trucks. The only difference is the Caddy has flat top pistons, and the truck has dished pistons which yield 9.4:1 compression. The 317 head has
a 71.06cc chamber, and when milled .030, which would yield a 67.66 cc chamber. That is the stock chamber of an LS1. 317 heads are also the same heads that several companies sell as LS6 style heads after machining.
