That cam will make excellent power, even with stock manifolds, but you're going to want a really good tune to make it idle and run at low rpm like you want. Certainly doable. Let us know what it dynos and runs at the track.

It will have a noticable "beat" to it. You'll definitely need to raise your idle speed over stock. 550 rpm in drive is too low. 700 in drive, 750 in neutral would probably sound nice and lopey.

Well I just dyno'd my car a few nights ago with a 224 112 lsa. I had no lid at the time just Loudmouth cat-back. I put down 350 rwhp with 332 tq which I am happy with. Very rich a/f though which is robbing some power due to the fact I don't have headers or a lid which will lean it out next tune. I now have a lid and headers on the way. Will post numbers later in my own thread. Good luck with everything!! Headers are a definate if you are wanting close to 400 at the wheels. Let us know!!!

No it won't... I had a '02 Z06 cam with stock exhaust and it ran 12.34@109. I switched out the cam for a TR224 and ran a 12.43@108. The engine needed to breath. I swapped the stock manifolds for some Pace Setters and ran a 11.7@114.

I installed a 224/224 on a 112 cam in a guys Firehawk. He had exhaust manifolds and cats. To be honest, you could barely hear the lope. He was dissapointed in the sound for certain. Opening up the exhaust will really change the sound. So don't be dissapointed because it WILL be quiet and hard to notice, especailly on a 114.
He did put down 362 rwhp though with nothing other than a lid and LS6 intake.
