I have done a ton of research on cam selection and i'd say that an FM13 would be a good choice for you in that it would offer a decent gain up top and still be fairly smooth (the FM cams all seem very smooth). In fact a local friend just ordered an F13 for his 01 Z28. Can't wait until he gets it in and I can knoiw first hand what that cam is like, but I have heard nothing but good things about it....that goes for all futral cams.
On that note, I am actually getting a TR224 cam b/c i still think its the best ALL-AROUND cam out there. I just bought some Absolute Speed stage 2 heads that have been milled a bit and a TR224 is the biggest cam I can run with them but the guy who had the heads put out 432/400 on the dyno with these heads and just a TR224 so i can live with that
Anyhow, good luck.

the vinci 055 cam would be a great choice. it'll improve the low to mid range torque, while maintaining the top end horsepower. http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...%20LS1%202.htm
it's been tested vs a comp cam 220/224 115 LSA. results will be out soon.

The FM13 might not fit with your milled heads. Even if it would fit it will not give you the driveability that your curent cam has. It will have a much ruffer idle. Not saying your curent cam does not lope but the 230/232 .595/.585 112LSA will hit a lot harder. Plus sence it has 6 more degress than your curent cam i think u will have some P/C problems.
