Default Correct oil pump o-ring??

What's the part number that I want to use to get the newest o-ring for my oil pump? I almost messed something up today, motor started ticking REAL loud after a WOT run, my oil pump o-ring must be messed up after the timing chain swap, oil pressure is all over the place, etc. After a little driving it went away like the motor finally got some oil up to the valve train.

So any help would be awesome, thanks!

That doesn't sound the best. What was your oil pressure on initial startup? How long ago did you do the swap? I don't know the part number but if you go to a dealer (i know, i know, dealers suck *** but they are good for this kind of thing at least) and tell them what you want you will get what you are looking for. Did you put a new O-ring on wtih the swap?

Initial start up is 40spi, after driving around it will drop to around 20psi at a light, then go up with throttle, etc. It NEVER did this before I took it off for the timing chain, so I know something is up. I did this swap last night, so it's been 1 day. I will see what they can tell me on the part, I need it though I didn't put a new o-ring on, just reused the stock one, as I thought it looked good and didn't go on badly, seemed fine, but guess not

Yes, new O-ring a must have IMO. (and most others) Before I swapped mine to an LS6 pump with the cam (mine's a 98) I would see 18-20 psi at hot idle.

That's what I learned here I will be putting a new one on and getting the LS6 pump in (if I can find it). I used to have 40+ at hot idle and 60+ at WOT before I took it off, pisses me off
