Default ECT sensor

IM not sure if this goes here or not, but maybe someone here can help me out anyways...Anywho...while installing my longtubes, i accidently broke off my ECT sensor....From breaking that sensor off, will it make my car run like ***? Cause i noticed that my tempature guage doesnt work anymore as well...Is my motor getting Hotter than normal now?

Thank,

Paul

Your car will run like ***. It may even overheat since the fans don't know the coolant temp and when to turn on.

Your car will run like ***. Temp gauge will not work, fans may not come on when they should, could overheat. Will definately run like *** regardless because PCM uses ECT for airflow etc.

Fix/replace. Unplug/unscrew old sensor, screw in new sensor and plug in wiring harness. The new sensor will come with thread sealant already on it.
