Default Manley Dual Springs

I got Manley Dual drop0in springs with my FMS cam. I also got new seats and titanium retainers. Can I use the stock spring locks with the new springs/retainers?

you should be able to.. If they didnt come with them, then i guess you would reuse the stockers.

Yes, you can though if they have a lot of miles on them it wouldn't be a bad idea to spring for a new set.

IMO, I would replace them with a new set. The GM ones are really pretty cheap, definitely cheaper than a dropped valve .

Just to play the devils advocate here, has anyone actually seen or heard of a stock one failing? Ive heard of a couple of super 7s failing, but never a stocker, regardless of milage. Please correct me if Im wrong here. In general, I do believe you might as well spend the feew extra bucks on piece of mind.
