Question what heads/cam to use?

i'm looking at doing a heads and cam upgrade on my 99 ta but i'm not to sure what heads i want to use. i'm not spending crazy money for some stage 3 heads, although i wouldn't love them i don't have the money for it. but i am looking at either ls6 heads or 5.3 heads. my question is which is better, and what sould be done too each (decking, porting, etc.) i was planning on running a cam that would be pretty steep but still allow for nitrous on occasion so some cam numbers would help as well. my brother dynoed a car with ported 5.3 heads and other bolt ons and it made 415 so he was telling me to use them but wouldn't the fact that they have a smaller intakes valve hurt flow? agggrrhh i need help!!!

Was your bro's car an M6?

415 is generally nothing to brag about in a H/C M6 car, unless the cam is really mild.

Read the info in JRP's FAQ's and Sig. Lots of free info there.

As far as I've seen, LS6, but they are very expensive.
