Default OIl on spark plug threads?

I changed the spark plugs on my car and noticed that they had oil on the threads. Why? Should I be worried?

Thanks

Probably just anti sieze lube. After it's been heated cycled the plugs come out looking like oil on them. No big deal. Make sure to put some anti sieze on the new plugs.

if your oil level goes down, top it up and don't worry where it's going. A little bit on the spark plug threads ain't no thang It's an LS1 and is still fast as stink even if it burns oil! I don't use anti-sieze and it still looks like oil! I'm still fast!

How many miles are on your car? did it have the ring placment problem? Do you burn oil? Chances are oil is slipping by the rings. When you jump on it look in the rear view for a puff of smoke.

I have 83k miles and my car had the problem and never fixed, just keep a close watch on the oil level.
