what does a stock water pump cost? also, are there any better ones for alittle more money?

Got mine from Advance auto parts for about $130.00, it was made by Bosch. Looking on their website now, though it looks like the one for that price is made by Cardone??
Don't know of any aftermarket ones for these cars, except maybe for the electric ones like the Meziere

Default Water pumps

Evans makes LS1 specific coolant pumps. They spent a lot of time evening the flow from bank to bank. Shaft and bearings are larger than on the stock unit. Impeller is significantly better in terms of pumping capacity. You can order directly from:

Evans makes a nice piece, pricey but nice, if you can afford it get it.
