it is recommended that head gaskets be installed dry in most applications except steel shims. going to use cometics with afr's, should i install dry? read that some people spray lightly with permatex copper spray? these are .040 with 3.910 bore if it matters, going on 2500 mile car

i installed dry and have had no coolant, oil or cylinder leakage problems yet.
