Default comp r lifters

Some people on a thread were saying dont use them,so I did a search couldnt find out why.Getting ready to order lifters,should I just go with the 850-16s?

You need to post engine mods particularly cam. Chances are the 850's are all you need. Set up can prove difficult with the Comp R's.

I went with the tsp 232/234 114 torquer and 5.3 heads.

The 850's are all you need, but make sure your P/V clearance is OK. I've only got a 228/230 and had to notch my pistons.
