Default 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA opinions

I was wondering what you guys all thought of the Thuder Racing 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA cam, gas milage and drivability. i thought the trex cam was a little too much for everyday driving, but i think this cam will be a little nicer. when i buy it i will have LS6 intake, Pacesetter LT's and TSP Ypipe, underdrive pulley, but will keep the stock cat back to reduce the noise some untill i can afford a gmmg...also i will have 3.73 gears (A4) thanks! any other suggestions for a daily driver that i want to get to around 400rwhp cam only

I almost bought that cam but went with the X1 instead. It has similar specs, slightly higher lift but higher lsa. I dyno'd at about 390 rwhp with similar mods, but no pulley or TB, so I probably would have been > 400 with those bolt-ons. However, since A4s dyno lower, you will probably be hard pressed to hit 400, especially with 3.73s. Around 375 - 380 is more realistic assuming you have free flow exhaust and the LS6 intake.

Default The Dyno run looked good, didn't it?

I thought the Dyno run that they had on the web site for that cam looked really good. I was wondering about the "Reverse" Split, though. I suppose that drives the power band way up (strip set up) while another cam that showed great numbers was the good ol' TR224. Another similar cam that seemed to have good number was the Futral F5-112 (224/228 .588/.576), which seemed like a really good compromise between strip and street. Anybody have experience with the cams above?
