Question how do you troubleshoot a bad cam?

Im trying to figure out why my mpgs are so bad and why the car doesnt have instant response when i get on the throttle. i thought it was because the clutch was slipping, but i replaced that yesterday and its still moving like ****! the cam is a 228/228 114 (f10) i think i may pull it and send it to FMS to have allan take a look at it, but if you guys could give a few suggestions it would help. mods are in sig and there are no codes at all

Did you degree the cam when you installed it? I'm not sure about Futral cams but many come with a Cam Pro print out. I would tend to first believe there would be an install error before I thought there was something wrong with the cam itself. Degree it in.

Are you getting an SES light? Do you have dyno numbers or track times to compare? How long have your O2's been in there?

o2's are new...made 377/371 full bolt on less the pulley. no ses. car shifting is getting really rough too. when i go into a gear, the car likes to buck. i do i determine a bad tranny and or rearend? im thinking of pulling the cam and installing the stock one till i can figure if the cam is indeed the issue. if it isnt, then im just going to get a bigger cam to make the shitty mpgs worth it.
