Default Need cam and head help......

I want to buy a cam for my 98 Trans Am M6 I run mid 12s with a dry nos kit, I would like to go faster. My cuz is running a cam in his car and we run about the same times....

I would like to see what my options are with my stock heads if I could.... Is that even possible or do I need to buy a different head? And what would be my best bet for a cam? I would like a cool sounding Idle and be able to use the nitrous with the cam. I might upgrade to a wet kit later. The car is by no means an all out drag car still need it to get back and forth to work.

thanks for any info you could provide!!!

233/239 R2 from TSP... seems like a torque monster and it works VERY well with the jug.. and it sounds damn good!!
