Do I need this special tool or is there another way? I need to do a swap this weekend, and dont have this tool to remove the fuel line.

Thanks

Yes, there's special quick disconnect tools. You should be able to find them at any autoparts store or Sears. Usually like 5-10 bucks. They have them in 2 types, either something that looks like a pair of scisors with holes on each end and is metal, or plastic rings of different sizes. The plastic ring worked best for me, the snout on the metal tool was too long and due to the construction of the fuel line, didn't have enough room to get it into the fitting. Basically you put the tool over the fuel line, and press it into the fitting, while pushing in then pulling back the fitting, and it should pop off and disconnect.
