Question about putting LS1 oil pan on 04 LS6? I have ordered new Oil pan from GMpartsdirect.com and i have a longblock 04 LS6 z06 engine and i have the stock Z06 oil pan and all that stuff. What do i need from my blown 98z my oil pan got destroyed when the motor went. So what parts do i need from my pan and motor? i know i need pickup tube. But what about windage tray and baffle from the z06 motor? i have someone interested in the oil pan and windage tray and baffle. I want to make sure i dont need those items i know i dont need the Z06 pickup. Also anyone have part numbers for Z06 PVC valve and hoses? i need to upgrade to that system.Also new check valve i believe for AIR or EGR i am leaving AIR and EGR i read how it can cause the car to run lean.also keep A/C off trying to shave weight and keep engine bay clean. i need to upgrade to that system. Thanks.
