Default Comp. 918s w/stock retainers?

Can I use the stock retainers with Comp. 918s or do I need to use upgraded retainers?

I ran a TR224 W/ 918's and stock retainers without any problems. How big of a cam are you running?

I'd always recomend ti retainers just for the loss in weight, but the stock ones will work.

You are doing this for the control, so the lighter your valvetrain is the better. Ti retainers aren't very expensive, especially if you just grab a spring "kit" and ESPECIALLY compared to what a proper turbo setup costs. Personally I'd go ahead and get them.
