Default AFR 205s on a daily driver?

Anyone doing this with the 205s and how many miles have you put on? I'm considering it, but need to keep my car pretty reliable which it has been for the most part. Probably just need to make it a year and a half or so before I buy another car and turn mine into a weekend warrior.

really wont change driveabilty from what you have now other than about another 30-40rwhp to play with
i have about 6-7000 on mine right now and drive it every day .

i had a tr230 cam before and that drove great on the street

Daily driver here. About 5000 miles on mine. Fuel economy improved and so did the driveability with the AFR 205s.

I just installed my set last weekend and it was a PITA, but worth it. Just been tuning it now to get it fully inline with where I want it to be. Definetely cant go wrong with AFR205 for daily driving. I drive my car everyday, hell its my only car.

I think I will wait for the 225's. I do not have the money anyway.

Man that seems to be too much for a 346 unless you boosting it.

Probably goes well with a big cam and moderately high rpm range.

the 205 heads are great on a daily driver. i have a set on my car,not a daily because i work 70mi away but i see 200ish mi a weekend and love them.the 205 heads gained me 47rw hp over my ported ls1 heads(mustang dyno) i'll be moving up to the 225's in a year. you would be a fool not to buy the AFR heads. good luck to ya.

I like 'em. Tony's customer service is also top-notch.
Since I put the AFR's on my MPG stays stuck at 17.5, the z06 clutch is starting to slip after 3,000 miles (maybe 6,000 total on the clutch), and I seem to go through tires too fast.....perhaps they are all related hehe.

I plan to combat these problems by installing 4.10's on Monday. This can only help.
