Default CAM Miester's...

Advantages/Disadvantages of this camshaft?? Tuning issues??

Car specs first:

M6/MTI422/MTI Stage III 5.3 heads (very good flow #'s @ .650) 11.3:1 comp./All the LSX 90mm goodies/1 7/8" KOOKS/3.73 gear/ Full street car...

Basic Cam specs...

Intake lift - .633"
Intake duration - 246 degrees

Exhaust lift - .645"
Exhaust duration - 256 degrees

112 LSA

Compare this to the camshaft that's in the car with some disappointing performance after the 90mm and KOOKS install...236/236 585/585 I believe on a 112 LSA. Significant gains with the new camshaft? Is this pretty much a mid-high RPM cam?

That 236 cam is a baby cam in a 422. Kinda like running a 212 cam in a 346. The 246/256 cam sounds more like what the motor will want. Tuning will take a little bit of time, but it won't be that bad. Just do a speed density tune to nail your VE tables and you should be good to go.
