have you seen the comparo pictures???
they're quite a bit beefier. i haven't seen a tensile strength/stress test or anything, but its definitely quite a bit stronger than the ls1 chain.

I can't see how the chain would stretch as the material would need to yield. I think that GM intentionally put some slack in the stock chain to control bearing loads at the front bearing.

The LS2 chain is alot stronger than an LS1/Ls6 chain. In fact if you were to bring a stock LS1/LS6 car into your GM dealer for service work & it needed a new chain they would use the LS2 chain. We have built several 402 LS2 that are making big hp #'s, and that is the only chain we can use (for now).
