Default burning more oil after heads

I put my stg II heads on back in jan. of 05. Changed my oil a couple of times since then, and everytime when I go to change I am about 2 quarts low. The motor normally burned about 1 quart between changes, but now its gotten worse. I have checked the motor and it looks like the bottom of the oil pan is lightly covered(not dripping) and when I try to trace it, it looks like its coming from the front somewhere, and then the trail just disappears. Any one have any suggestions. I will probably sit down and really take a look tomorrow when I have some time, but if anyone has advice that can save me some trouble, I appreciate it. thanks

Front cover to oil pan sounds like the culprit.

Thought that could have been it also, but the oil trail runs from right around the TB, which makes it unlikely.
