The two hardest parts are removing the balancer and reinstalling the pick-up tube bolt. To remove the balancer a chrysler/mitsu pulley puller is ideal. Autozone rent a tool has this. Get a new o-ring for the pick-up tube. Place it on the tube and then put the tube in the new pump.

It is really straight forward. Just take your time.

Word of advice on taking the pickup tube off, put a rag or something to catch the bolt holding the pickup tube on from falling into the oil pan. Kind of hard to hold onto and the rag will keep it from moving towards the back of the pan, you can grab it if it falls with a magnet.

Ditto, slip a rag under and behind it and keep a pen magnet handy in case it falls. Another thing to do to make it easier is to drop the oil pan about an inch or so. Really makes a world of difference.
