Engine Drop Mods
I will be changing Cam soon, since doing it "requires" droping engine oil, droping coolant, removing crank pulley.. etc
I was thinking that if i'm going to do that i would do other mods that require the same things like:
ASP pulley
160 T-Stat
Rod Bolts
Poly Motor Mounts
What other things can be done?

you are going to have to pull the motor to do those rod bolts. Looks like you will be pulling instead of dropping!
You wont be able to get the Pan off without pulling the motor so if you were thinking about going through the bottom side to do it.
What size cam are you going to run? Depending on the RPM range you really wont need to do rod bolts. the stockers are probably good enough to hold to about 6800 rpms.
But anyway to answer your question:
Timing setup : LS2, cloyes, rollermaster
LS6 ported/blueprinted oil pump
Springs , retainers, pushrods.
Maybe a stall if you are doing anything over a 224 cam.
LS6 intake or FAST if you got the cash.
Hope this helps.

I started with the springs and retainers, then the cam. While I was at it I went ahead and installed a blue-printed LS-6 oil pump and LS-2 timing chain. I also deleted the EGR and AIR jungle. Be forwarned, should you decide to replace the oil pump make sure to get at least two new oil pump pick-up o-rings if your luck/skill is not always up to par. Not only did I fubar the old one but one of the new ones as well. Good luck to you.

What are the benefits of LS2 Timing combo?
and What is the benefit of a LS6 oil pump?
Thanks!
