Default tsp torquer 2 install!

Well I keep thinking about getting this cam, i love the way it sound. But is the torquer 2 cam able to go in a stock motor this is what i wanted to know?
And what will i have to change other than many the springs.you see i'm in the millitary, right know at FT HOOD TX. and i'm going to drive home to california for xmas. and that's were i plan to swap the cam, cause the old man's a GM mechainic. plus seeing how i don't see my dad that much, i would love to work next to him once again like i did when i was 10. but like i was saying if i do this i then run into the problem of driving the car back almost 1400 miles and not tuned!! is this even possible, if so how bad/good? and as for the sweet ride its a 02 z28, m6, LESS THAN 35,000 miles, tsp lid, bellow, slp 85mm maf, ported tb, lt headers, tsp off road y pipe, magnaflow catback, 4.10s on stock rear, all qa1's, short throw, peadator tunner...and yeah thats it.
cam is 232/234 .595/.598 112lsa
i need some good advice thanks!!

Your going to want to get a tune, it will be a pretty ruff ride when it comes to stop and go traffic, and going that distance i would just take a day and plan on getting it tuned. You will be glad you did it in the long run.

Says in your sig that you've got a predator tuner. You'd probably be able to get alot closer with that, than just running your stock tune. I'm not really familar with the predator though..... Anyone? Good luck!!!
