Default Adjusting idle?

Hey guys, just wondering what the best way to adjust idle is on a '98 LS1? My idle is currently at 1000rpm's but I want to lower it to around 700-800rpm's.

is it tuned to idle at 1000? if so you have to tune it down to 700 rpm's.

sort of. you need to make sure your not getting too much or too little air past the TB when its closed and then you can change your idle thru the comp.

you can adjust the set screw on your TB ... but if you close the blade, then less air is going to be getting into the intake, your IAC module will have to work more to keep the engine running ... blah blah ... basically your gonna have to get it tuned to get your idle down w/o affecting driveability.
