Which pistons, rods, lifters, & rocker arms for a 402 LS2 solid roller?
Doing a 402 LS2 solid roller build with a set of ET Performance heads and was wondering what brand of components I should use? I'm estimating 600 rwhp, which would be around 750 to the motor with my setup. It may make less, it may make more. I'll be using a forged Eagle crankshaft. This will be for a drag only 2000 Camaro SS. Thanks.

Scat rods are fine, unless you want to go Aluminum, and in that case GRP would be nice
Wiseco is the only company making the right 11* pistons right now, so if you use the ET heads those are your best bet.
Morel lifters are nice, Jesel has a bad *** set but they're very expensive
T&D rockers are the ****
stock main caps have been proven to handle a ton of power with just a set of studs.

I would say lunati pro billet rods or the callies compstar rod, wiseco pistons and rings. The morel lifter i think is one of the best and both jesel and t&d rockers are excellent. Thats my .02 cents

the pro billet rods are a waste on a motor like this in my opinion, if it was a power adder motor they would be worth it, but for the $$ involved in those rods the scats are a killer deal. especially for na.

well , i got a solid roller engine and i will tell you this, just make sure that you have the best ARP bolts in the connecting rods, due to high rpm that the engine gona rev to. i used L-19 with my eagle rods and it is great as far for price and quality.
just make sure you have the best top end parts to produce Hp

The Scat rods will be just fine for N/A and even with a power adder.. I would go with the Diamond pistons myself.. But, JE and Wiseco would work just fine.. Use the stock mains with a good set of ARP bolts.. The comp lifters should be fine, but if you want to spend the money on the Morel's then go for it! If you are going with a solid roller you will want the adjustable T&D shaft mounted rockers or the Jessell adjustables..

Do not use the Comp Solid LS1 lifters!! Try Morels or Jesel
Definately go for the 3/8 pushrods
T&D or Jesel rockers
Dont forget to take into acct your valve lift so that you can choose a spring that will have plenty of room. Because if you need a spring with a high install height you may need longer valves as well.

All the Rods will work and I agree with Cameron aka the Machinist about the Callies but the Lunatis are still overpriced but nice. The Scats and the new Eagle on center rods will also work fine in any NA applications as well. They have huge 7/16 arp bolts in all of them so the rods are not going anywhere soon! The main thing is putting it together right as nothing will work well no matter what the parts are if you mess up here.

Does anyone know if the ET Performance heads are offered to fit 3/8" pushrods?
What valvetrain is offered with the ET Performance heads? (valves, springs, etc.)
Its a toss up between Eagle and Callies rods, if you had to choose, what would you pick?
Lastly, I've heard of Wiseco pistons long before I got into the F-body world, but never ran into them here on the board or any of the sponsors. Any reason for that?
Thanks everyone for the help so far.

Yes they will work with 3/8 pushrods.
Both rods will work great so it is up to you really.
Wiseco pistons are used at many of the shops on here and have been around forever. I use them because they are very nice pistons and they fit almost every crank with no work.
