valve clicking 
not starting off well today. ok i installed comp cam XEX273hr and springs in my ls6, and under a slight load now clicks and sounds like an 85 Mecedes diesel after the car is warmed. So i switched the stock rockers out with comps 1:85 thinking that the pushrods may be short. I adjusted the preload twice and still does it....
Any help would be appreciated...

probably normal with the cam you have and springs.Its the sound of the valves hitting the seats.you can easily hear it through the soft aluminum heads.no biggie

the cam has advertiesed intake of 273 EX 279 224 230 at .050 and .581 .588 with 1:7 rockers so add 10% with 1:85. my only problem is that it sets my Knock sensor off and throws the timing way out of wack...

do the knock sensors go off at idle or cruising speeds?I would check to be sure its okay to use the 1.85 rockers with that cam because they can be real hard on the springs if its an xe-r lobed cam.
