Just put them on a set of Dart heads.

I like them. You have to clearance the valve covers unless you have spacer plates like yours.

How does the weight compared to stock?
Is the stock rocker a ture 1.7 ratio?
1.75 ratio will add about .015 more lift to a .600 lift cam over a stock 1.7 rocker

For $485, they might be a good alternative over stock and for those who don't want to spend $1500 for Jesels ( with spacers ) no? My valve covers are already cleared from a previous experiment.

Stainless should provide a problem free street rocker with minimal fear of fatigue, but I don't know what the rotary inertia is on these rockers. Haven't seen the numbers, but the Cranes are supposed to have less rotary inertia than the stock rockers with a better bearing system internally.

Most times the steel rockers like the Pro Mags are better in terms of mass over the valve (or rotary inertia) than a aluminum rocker.

FWIW I design the cams around these rockers, it's actually a better way to go.

I got a lot of flak when I put these in along with 3/8 pushrods and morel lifters. They
all told me the extra weight would kill me,it doesn't seem to be the case.

Most? When is it not? Just trying to learn. I have a 227/231 575/579 custom EDC cam.

Well MOST TIMES the steel rockers have less mass over the valve!

Z-ya, you put the mass in the right spots, lifters and PR can have more mass and not hurt you at all.

I'm installing a set of these on a customer's car next week. I read above where valve cover spacers are required. Who has installed these and what kind of mods did you have to do to the covers or pushrod holes?

I have been wanting to use these on an ls1 for some time now, but I can say that from past expirience with them on LT1's and sbc's i've built that they are excellent rockers. Problem free for me.

What you want to clearance on the covers is the hemispherical protrusions that are below the coil pack mounting holes. That and the baffle inside the drivers side cover.

I also milled the walls that stick down into the heads on the passenger side cover thinner so there was more clearance there.
