Default head guide?

i know there is a cam guide sticky.. but what about a head guide? im in the dark about cylinder heads, how do they increase hp, how do u match heads and a cam, what do the numbers mean... im sure there are pages that can be written about them ,btu a guide might be nice. anyone want to chime in? thanks

i've gathered the basic info, pics, graphs, ect when i started the cam guide. i've just never gotten around to puttinng the head guide together.

oh. i know heads are one of the most common mods which apparently get most people over the 400+ hp zone and run about 1000+$, im just curious as to... well... how they do that.

Default Head guide

I agree with del...543. We need a head guide sticky. I knew nothing about cams before I read the cam guide (about 4 times). I certainly don't think I'm a cam guru now, but I know a huge amount compared to what I knew before I read the cam guide. A head guide would be really helpful.

...and thanks for putting in all of the work on the cam guide.
