Slp 402
Hello,
What are your opinions on the ZL402 from SLP? Does anyone have one of these installed in their car?
The ad mentions it's good up to 600hp, has anyone taken it further?
Is 600hp a conservative number from SLP in order to make them last?
I've seen stock engines come close to this.
I'm doing a quick budget build and I wanted some feedback on how reliable and strong these shortblocks are.
thanks in advance for any comments,
allen

i v got the same engine but im watting for the heads from afr for 5 months now i think you will face some problem like deleting the knoch sensor and you have to buy too many things like timming cover ,timming chain and so many things but idont know how much hp you can reach with this engine but ithink more than 500 rwhp

I'll just pay the 4K$ for a good one. I don't want to do this twice.
I have the old engine, so everything is coming off the old engine, so just a short block will be fine.
thanks for the input!
