ls1 newb (im an rx7 guy) bolt on ?'s
basically, i dont know much about these silly piston engines, but I'm putting one in my rx7. i currently have a '02 ls1/t56 sitting on my garage floor. the car will be registered in oregon, so i'm gonna have to pass smog.
any suggestions you guys might have about mods- cam, MAF, pulleys, etc would be great. so far i've got a fidanza flywheel and a z06 clutch. im not going for crazy power or anyhting, but if there are some smog friendly cams out there youd recomend i'll consider them. and any other mods. thanx

TR224/224-114 would be an awesome cam for your application. I would also look at doing a march, asp, or SLP underdrive pulley, and having your throttle body ported. Your going to be running headers im assuming?

Welcome! Definately check out the Hybrid & Conversion forum..
The TR224 cam would definately be a good choice. Do a search on it and you will see some numbers this cam has put down on the dyno. You already have the LS6 intake so get your factory throttle body ported/polished, throw in some good NGK plugs and MSD wires, put some nice headers on it, and buy a pulley from asp/slp/powerbond,etc...
That little car whould be a blast to drive with a 380rwhp LS1/T-56 setup in it...
