SLP forged internals???

SLP forged internals??? Ok well i bought my SLP 2002 SS earlier this year and was told that it might have forged internals??? 
Ok well heres the deal.. I cant deal with detonating a my motor because the budget is tight. But i have the money to get a procharger and wanted to run a pulley management for 5 lbs of boost to start off. I was told that i could have a great chance of blowing my motor cause of this.. Heads and cam i was told would be better off with my set up i have hooker headers, ORY, and a cutout. I also wanted the procharger because its a bolt on kit and wouldnt affect the resale value of the car because im going to trade it in for the new camaro in 08. Help would be greatly apperciated.. T
