Default freshen motor?

How much can I expect to pay a machine shop to disassemble/inspect/reassemble my re-sleeved 422? just labor, not parts. i will also have them flycut my pistons for 12* LS7 heads.

Cost will depend on what can be reused. We just did one and ended up swapping front and rear covers, all gaskets, bearings, chain, rings and turned and polished the crank. Cost was around 800 for parts and we had studs so no bolts had to be bought.

Send me an e-mail PortPros@sbcglobal.net I'll do a qoute for you on the machine work normally done for a freshen up and rebuilding the short block.
The qoute will give you something to compare prices with even if we don't do the work.

Harold
