Default Metal in Oil

When I was last changing the oil there was a very small piece of metal being held by the drain plug. It was very small - maybe a 1/16" and looked to me to possibly be a part of the upper end of a pushrod. Now if anything it was smaller than the 1/16" size. There was nothing else that looked bad in the oil and the motor is running well. What are your thoughts. I'm planning on doing nothing except looking closely next oil change. It could have been most anything but is worrysome.
Thanks

A pic is worth 10000 words. Preferably next to a coin for reference. If you cant host or post it, Ill give you my email and ill put it up for you. Otherwise its hard to speculate what it could be and wether or not it might be a problem.
