Default Head gasket question??????

When I put my heads on I used the new head gasket on stretching of the head studs tightening them and then lossening them then tightening them??. Will this cause them to leak or hurt them. I need to know ASAP where I can put it back together. Let me know guys. Thanks in advance.

No these are head studs. I read that they have to be tighted down and then lossen a few times to stretch them out a little for better sealing.

Head studs do not stretch. Just tork to specified amount.
Stock GM bolt stretch and are not recommended for reuse (although I know of some poeple who have done it )
