Default Poll: Scat I-Beams

Would you use these in a budget 383 LS1 build-up with a small cam and patriot 5.3 heads?

Other mods would be:

-Full bolt-ons
-Dyno-Tune
-Eagle 4.000" Crank
-Forged Pistons/Rings

Richard, I'm using the SCAT H-beams in my 454, so the I-beams should be more than sufficent for your 383. However, I doubt there is a diffrence in price. If that is the case, I'd get the H's.

THanks for the reply Jason! Yeah, the I-beams are right under $300 and the H-beams are $450. It says on SDPC that they come with the arp cap screws, I should be able to use the arp 2000 "cracked rod" bolts, right?
