Default A4 T-rex only

This is for all A4 + T-rex v.2 cars owners.
How often Do You drive Your car ?
Is it for track only ?
How does it drive ?
Does your car die out a lot ?

This is my last post before I decide between T-rex and MS3. Thanks a lot !

I don't own a TRex but here are a few answers to your questions.

You can drive it daily if you have a really good tune and the right parts with the install.

You can drive it track only also. However, you might want a big stall and big gears.

It will probably drive similarly to the MS3 with a good tune..

It shouldn't die ever.

I was about to order it, untill of the the guys told me that such big cams are good for high compression motors, that will lower compression they dont work as good, they are hard to tune, they may die out, that there are ways to get more power with smaller cam, that even if the bigger cam makes extra 25 hp more the driveability goes down to ****.
I got all the parts needed for install.
I got 4400 stall with 4.10 gear.
I have a good tuner ( I hope hes really good )
SO if YOure saying that MS3 and T-rex 2 will drive similary, then who cares, might as well go bigger.

Oh well, T-rex it is. I always wanted this bad boy in my car anyway.
Thanks fellas, for answering all my questions in this and other posts. IT was a big help.

I have the t-rex in my a4. The only problem I don't like about it is, the surging. But that is it. It sounds great, and performs just as good as it sounds.

Big difference between a T-rex and an MS3. The MS3 has about 13.5* of overlap @.05 where the T-rex has around 25*. I daily drive an MS3 with a 4k stall speed converter, dumped duals and stock 3.23 gears. I do not think the cam is too big, in fact I love it and am glad I went with the MS3 rather than something smaller like the 233/239, but I wouldn't want to go much bigger.

With a 4,400 stall and 4.10's, proper tuning of the engine, correct shift points and lockup speeds and smooth/proper driving it should never die.

Im trying to take care of it. Got deep trans pan, supercooler, all parts inside the trans are totally replaced with stronger ones, made for abuse.
